What are the indications to get facial cleansing by a beautician?

A facial cleansing procedure is wonderful for acne and other skin irritants.

It helps with all types of acne:

  • Comedones – whiteheads or blackheads
  • Papular acne – red bumps that rise above the surface of the skin
  • Pustular acne – soft acne with pustular contents (these are painful)
What happens during a facial cleansing?

Margarita practices mechanical cleansing, which is a time-tested and effective facial treatment where all impurities are removed from the skin. Mechanical cleansing consists of several stages:

  • Cleanse the skin
  • Apply a special mask containing urea, which helps to open the pores and soften their content
  • Then, skin is covered with a film
  • Next, comedones and milia (cysts or pimples) are removed by Margarita’s hands and tools
  • Then, an anti-inflammatory and pore-constricting mask is applied

Note: since with even the most accurate procedures, capillaries are injured, so you may experience red spots and some swelling. Due to this, Margarita won’t get to every single irritant. The procedure should be continued after a week, when symptoms regress.

How often should I get a facial cleansing?

The frequency of getting a facial cleansing procedure is determined on an individual basis. Due to the nature of the procedure, such exposure should be resorted to as rarely as possible. For oily skin, only get a treatment every 3-4 months or longer. In case of dry skin, the need for cleansing is even less.

Herbal peels are an effective solution to target several problems at once: it helps restore a healthy, radiant color to the skin and evens out microrelief and improves regeneration. It also helps increase the production of collagen and elastin fibers, giving the skin a more elastic and younger look. Plus, the removal of keratinized particles in the skin significantly increases permeability – nourishing and significantly healing the skin’s components.

How is an herbal peel done?

An herbal peel consists of an acid solution that’s concentrated and applied to cleansed skin. It may be glycolic, pyruvic, lactic, salicylic or trichloroacetic acid. The time of exposure is strictly regulated and depends on the patient’s skin type and expected effect (superficial or medium peeling). After that, the acid is washed off and if necessary, a nourishing mask or serum is applied.
